We know you’ve probably been inundated with messages from suppliers and customers over the last week or so, but we still wanted to reach out to all of our contacts.

Here at Calico UK it’s effectively business as usual with the team members all working from home. So you can rest assured that you’ll be able to reach us with technical support or accounts related queries.  Because we have call diverts enabled on our telephone lines, we cannot transfer calls between team members. So for technical support you have to call 01381 600580 and for finance/accounts related calls you should use 01381 600526. (Answerphone messages may sound slightly different, but it’s still us). We’re well aware that these are uncertain times for everyone and want to try and help in as positive way as possible. It may be that you have a bit more time on your hands as an individual or small business, so could perhaps put that time to good use. We’ll continue to share hints and tips for websites and social media in our Facebook Group.  We can also help with the following:

• new email accounts for staff members or a particular project
• settings reminders for home working access to email along with associated technical support by phone or email
• FTP or website access details for site updates to keep your customers informed, eg to add a closure message, allowing people to order with a later dispatch etc
• SSL certificates for sites if your focus has moved to more online selling (ensure your site doesn’t show as ‘not secure’)
• developmental hosting (FOC) for if you want to work on a new website, eg WordPress hosting
• new domains/webhosting/email accounts for if you plan to diversify
• services linked to personal requirements, eg a hobby website, if you’re learning web design, craft or home business websites
• community projects

And much more…..

Maybe this can be a time to spring clean those websites so that when we get to a point of normality again, that you’re prepared and ready to go.
