Many of our customers use the WordPress content management system for their website designs. We asked some of them why they chose this particular system. Here’s what Dr Chris Fenn had to say:

What do I do? I help people to feel better, have more energy, lose weight, banish bloating, manage the menopause or be better at your sport. 

Fresh air, regular exercise and the right type of stress help to keep you well, but what you eat has a major influence on your long term mental and physical health. I can offer one to one consultations to evaluate your eating habits and suggest small, but important, changes that you could make to improve how you feel. We often rely on a drug or vaccination to prevent disease. Science has made great progress in these areas over the years, but the power of nutrition and quality foods is often under estimated. The UK National Health Service is a national sickness service, treating millions of people every year with diabetes, obesity, heart disease and cancers. All of these conditions have a strong link with nutrition – in their cause and their cure. In my consultations, seminars and workshops I help individuals understand how particular vitamins or minerals, the right type of fat, enough protein or choosing better quality foods can boost health. I explore the myths and misunderstandings about food and how to make better choices. 

Why WordPress? I am a Nutritionist not an IT consultant. My website designer chose WordPress to do the initial page layout. I specifically wanted a system whereby I could make changes and update the website myself, which WordPress allows me to do. The process is simple and easy, even for me, which is important as I need the technology to work so that I can get on with the main aspects of my business. I can post a blog, add the dates of my public seminars or announce a new book for sale.
