A server software update update released by cPanel has led to the immediate withdrawal of SquirrelMail webmail from our Calico UK mail systems.
You can find out more information on why SquirrelMail has been withdrawn on the cPanel website.
For those of you who’ve been using SquirrelMail, on login you’ll now be offered 2 alternative webmail options – Roundcube and Horde. Both webmail options will leave you into the same Inbox as before, with your email stored as it was. The same functionality will be there, there’ll just be a slightly different layout and different colour schemes. If you need any assistance while you familiarise yourself with the new webmail options, please contact our team.
Once you’ve decided which you prefer, you can choose to set it as default – either on the welcome screen, or from the menu in the top right hand corner once you’re logged into your Inbox.
We’re aware that some SquirrelMail users utilised the Address Book/Contact List function within their mail, and that will no longer be visible. It’s possible for us to export a list of previous contacts and email that through to you should you require. If this is an issue for you, please contact us at our Support Helpdesk and one of the team will follow up with you.
