It is with great sadness that we have to bring you the news that Evelyn has decided to hang up the helpdesk phone for the last time and retire from Calico.

Evelyn originally started with us in 2008 to cover a colleague on maternity leave and ended up staying with the company for 12 years! Over the years had become a firm favourite with customers when they had mail or connection problems with their PCs or other devices. Many customers asked for Evelyn by name, having built up a relationship with her.

We will not only miss her for her phone answering and helpdesk skills, but also getting to chat with her on a daily basis and those social aspects such as playing Popmaster together.

Once lockdown is over we look forward to marking her retirement properly with a visit to our favourite staff event venue, Sutor Creek, to raise a glass.

Evelyn plans to spend more time with her husband Jim, their children and grandchildren as well as helping Jim with his own woodturning and furniture making business (Cromarty Woodturning and Wooden Boards).
