Celebrationart.co.uk was set up to give opportunities to “Take part in Art” whether on practical art activities or to commission special art works. This clever concept is the brainchild of lead artist Richard Nichols, an accomplished figure within the creative world, with a vast experience in business and of running workshops in the UK, Europe & worldwide as well as the on-going solo “Around Britain” collection of unique paintings which are created of Special Places for Special occasions or Special people. He was born in Suffolk, bordering beautifully Constable Country and first exhibited at the famous Gainsborough’s House gallery during his Sudbury schooldays, progressing through design, publishing and project management to expand his activities portfolio to include such clients as The National Trust, English Heritage and RSPB by initiating a host of highly successful creative projects.

Greatly appreciating “all things natural”, with an affinity for a challenge and experienced yet sensitive approach, Richard is now based near his beloved coast, continuing to develop exclusive concepts such as art-afloat.com and artambles.com which offer a wide range of opportunities for individuals, groups and businesses to “Take part in Art”.

He uses the flexibility of WordPress to offer personal contact and adjust wording for activities or change pictorial illustrations. The current website was developed to link enquiries from each of the domains registered with Calico to the central hub for ease of administration and yet provide a convenient platform for change and updating. Recent events have made things very difficult for continuing workshops but contact has always been there to share tips & techniques or the sale and supply of an existing drawing, special painting or to discuss individual requirements of another unique very special painting.
